BK Consult

BK Consult GmbH is a niche service provider with over 20 years of experience in Project Management and service delivery. BKC offers Quality Assurance Services for various projects in the fields of Vocational Education and Training (VET), Higher Education, and programs focused on Rights, Equality, and Citizenship, ensuring that projects achieve their intended results and objectives. 

BKC has a comprehensive knowledge of the EU Competence Frameworks, including the latest initiatives at an EU level, namely DigCompEdu, EntreComp and the Green Skills Framework. BKC also plays a key role in the renewal, updating, and design of new Occupational Profiles in alignment with ESCO, leveraging its experience in managing and implementing relevant activities at both the EU level and the national level across various sectors, including construction. 

Within this context BK Consult GmbH has designed a standardized outcome and result-driven project management methodology that accompanies each project from the design phase to the implementation and the end of the Project’s cycle with a robust management structure, continuous monitoring activities, and a delivery control mechanism. 

It provides a wide bouquet of services, facilitating educational providers through the design and delivery of competency-based training curricula, with the intention to provide added value for organizations and partners at local, regional, national, and transnational levels, for our societies, in a sustainable manner.

ΑΚΜΙ

The Institute of Vocational Training AKMI is Greece’s largest VET provider, founded in 1989. It operates in 9 cities, enrolling around 18,000 students yearly in 112 specialties across 14 sectors. AKMI is part of the AKMI Group, which includes Metropolitan College. It offers post-secondary education at EQF levels 3-5 and collaborates internationally with organizations like ITEC and Pearson Edexcel. AKMI emphasizes social inclusion and aims to cultivate productive, broad-minded citizens through education. It has received numerous awards, including recognition as the most Innovative VET Provider in Europe by the European Vocational Skills Week in 2022. Additionally, AKMI SA is Greece’s only Centre of Vocational Excellence, affiliated with the European Network for Excellence. 

ÖJAB

ÖJAB (Austrian Young Workers Movement) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people through education and vocational training.  

At the heart of ÖJAB’s mission is vocational education and training (VET), supporting numerous young people and adults annually in acquiring market-relevant qualifications. ÖJAB combines professional expertise with practical experience to deliver high-quality vocational training. The organization aims at preparing participants for the evolving demands of the modern workplace. This commitment to future-oriented education is exemplified through participation in Europe-wide education projects and innovative training programs. 

ÖJAB’s dedication to sustainability is evident in its operations and educational approach. The organization exclusively uses renewable energy sources and implements eco-friendly construction practices, including solar panel integration and climate adaptation measures. The award-winning GreenHouse dormitory in Vienna stands as a testament to ÖJAB’s commitment to environmental leadership. 

As one of Austria’s largest hostel operators, ÖJAB provides accommodations for people across 29 facilities, creating dynamic environments where students and young professionals can network and grow. The organization’s non-political and non-religious status ensures an inclusive learning environment where digital skills and sustainable practices are integrated into educational programs, preparing participants for success in an increasingly technology-driven, environmentally conscious world. 

Symplexis

Symplexis is a Greek non-for-profit organization that strives to ensure equal opportunities for all through actions and measures that build skills, empower and promote active engagement and participation focusing on the most vulnerable categories of the population and particularly those with fewer opportunities.  

Symplexis’ mission is to elevate social cohesion through integrated actions and project-based activities that aim at promoting the inclusion of disadvantaged groups at risk of marginalization and exclusion, while promoting and protecting the rights of various types of population groups that face discrimination focusing on the empowerment and support of victims, awareness raising and information sharing at all levels.  

Symplexis’ activity builds on user-led approaches and interventions around four main axes of expertise, namely:  

  • The social and economic inclusion of those most in need comprising a wide variety of activities aimed at reducing poverty, preventing marginalisation and promoting the sustainable integration of disadvantaged groups, particularly focusing on Third Country Nationals. 
  • The protection and promotion of human rights through activities and interventions that address the needs of a wide range of discriminated population groups, such as women, children and elderly people, victims of violence and human trafficking, the LGBTQI community, Roma and unaccompanied minors, migrants and asylum seekers/ refugees.  
  • Upskilling, capacity building and empowerment of vulnerable groups with the aim to promote equal access to formal and non-formal education for all and promote lifelong learning focusing on low-skills individuals that face difficulties in (re) the labour market.  
  • Child and youth development through actions and projects designed to reduce youth poverty, promote child protection and stimulate social inclusion and development. 

LNE

Founded in 2017, Lebanese National Energy (LNE) is a non-profit civil society organization committed to driving national social and economic development in Lebanon. As a catalyst for positive change, we align our initiatives with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while addressing pressing local challenges. 

At LNE, we believe that sustainable progress begins at the grassroots level. By empowering, informing, and engaging local communities, we foster a national partnership for recovery, economic growth, and social cohesion. Recognizing Lebanon’s human capital as a primary national resource, we work to harness and develop its potential—countering brain drain and unlocking new opportunities. 

Our focus is on key sectors where our expertise can create meaningful impact: technical and vocational education and training, food security and agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, and social cohesion. Through a holistic, collective approach, we collaborate with local and international partners to alleviate the complex socio-economic challenges affecting communities across Lebanon. 

Comprising professionals from diverse fields and backgrounds—spanning civil society, public institutions, and the private sector—our team brings local, regional, and global experience to our work. LNE has successfully launched initiatives that highlight Lebanon’s economic potential, promote self-reliance, and address urgent needs, including those exacerbated by the global pandemic and economic crisis.

LOST

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1998 with a mission to empower and engage Lebanon’s marginalized communities, particularly in the Baalbeck-Hermel region. Committed to fostering social, political, and economic development, LOST works to create a more equitable society by reducing poverty, eliminating exclusion, and promoting peacebuilding. 

Over the years, LOST has implemented community development projects worth over USD 50 million, supported by major international organizations and government institutions, including the World Bank, UNICEF, UNDP, UNHCR, UNFPA, UNESCO, WFP, USAID, GIZ (Germany), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and the Regional Development and Protection Program (RDPP), alongside embassies from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, and Australia, among others. 

LOST’s experience spans across various sectors, including women empowerment, education and digital literacy, humanitarian aid, social stability, food security, livelihood and agriculture development. Through innovative programs such as Cash for Food, livelihoods training, women’s empowerment initiatives, and refugee education programs, LOST has directly impacted the lives of over 100,000 individuals. 

With a strong reputation for transparency, accountability, and community engagement, LOST continues to be a driving force in Lebanon’s sustainable development, empowering youth, women, and vulnerable groups to actively contribute to their communities. 

OMA

The Oyoun Masr Association is committed to empowering youth and fostering social development through voluntary work, human rights advocacy, and skill-building initiatives. Our primary objectives are: 

  • Promoting Voluntary Work and Human Rights Protection
  • Raising cultural and social awareness across different sectors of society, with a particular focus on youth empowerment. 
  • Addressing youth-related challenges by facilitating open discussions and working towards practical and sustainable solutions. 
  • Developing and implementing projects that support human rights initiatives, fostering a culture of civic responsibility and active citizenship. 
  • Developing Youth Skills and Leadership
  • Strengthening collaboration between civil society organizations and youth networks, fostering long-term partnerships for community impact. 
  • Organizing training programs and youth exchanges to cultivate skilled, innovative, and socially responsible young leaders in cooperation with specialized institutions. 
  • Promoting a culture of social peace, dialogue, and conflict resolution, advocating for the renunciation of violence and armed conflicts among diverse social groups. 
  • Designing and implementing sustainable development projects that contribute to social progress and community resilience.

     

Recognition and Achievements 

  • March 2006: Oyoun Masr was awarded the Prof. Adel Abou-Zahra Prize for Freedom of Expression and Dialogue by Bibliotheca Alexandrina, during the closing session of the Arab Reformation Conference. 
  • February 2007: The association was featured in “Successful Experiences in the Arab World”, a publication of the Arab Youth Conference: Culture of Thinking and Reformation, issued by Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

     

Through these efforts, Oyoun Masr continues to be a catalyst for positive change, equipping young people with the tools, skills, and opportunities to actively shape their communities and advocate for a more just and peaceful society.
